Privacy Policy

1. The short version

ImageTools Pro is a set of image tools that run entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to a server. We do not create accounts and we do not sell personal data.

2. Files and tools

Removing backgrounds, compressing, resizing, converting, cropping, rotating and encoding images happens locally on your device using JavaScript. Your files never leave your computer, and no one at ImageTools Pro can see them.

3. Local storage data

To remember your preferences and your free daily usage allowance, we store small amounts of data in your browser using localStorage (for example: today's tool-use count, language and theme, whether you activated Pro, and the answer you gave on the consent banner). This data stays on your device, is never sent to our servers, and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings. Clearing the itp_consent entry withdraws your advertising consent and brings the banner back.

4. Advertising (third-party)

We display advertising served by Google AdSense to keep the free tools free. Google, as our ad provider, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. These cookies are set by the ad provider, not by ImageTools Pro.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (www.google.com/settings/ads), or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies by visiting www.aboutads.info. You can also stop personalised ads in your browser settings, via your device's ad settings, or through the preference tools of the advertising partners shown on the ads. We do not control these third-party cookies.

5. Payments

Pro subscriptions are paid via PayPal. When you choose to pay, PayPal (not us) handles the transaction data, and you may send us a contact email and the transaction ID so we can activate your code. That email and transaction ID are used only to verify and deliver your Pro access.

6. European users (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA/UK, you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data described in this policy. Since we store no data on our servers, deletion means clearing your browser's site data. For anything else, contact us at bekkasid@yahoo.fr.
