AI Website Animation Builder
Turn a concept into an animated, exportable website story.
Generation provider
Use the demo provider for a free local preview, or connect your own OpenAI key for a server-side generation.
Step 1 of 6
Concept
Describe the audience, the promise, and the feeling you want the animation to communicate.
The AI Website Animation Builder turns a written concept into an animated landing page you can preview in the browser and export as a single HTML file. You describe the audience and the promise, pick a template, optionally add a start and end image, choose an entrance motion — fade, slide, float, zoom or reveal — then edit the headline, colors and call-to-action before exporting.
Everything runs locally: story frames never leave your browser, the generated document uses pure CSS animations that respect reduced-motion preferences, and the preview is sandboxed. The demo provider works without any key, while connecting your own OpenAI account unlocks server-side generation — the key stays encrypted on the server and is never kept in the browser.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an AI provider to try the builder?
No. The built-in demo provider generates a local preview for free, without any key. Connect your own OpenAI key only when you want server-side generation with your own account — the key is stored encrypted on the server and is never kept in the browser.
Are my story frames uploaded anywhere?
No. The optional start and end images stay in your browser session for the preview. They are limited to 1 MB each (PNG, JPG or WebP) and are not sent to the generation provider.
What does the export contain?
A standalone HTML file whose animations are pure CSS — no runtime and no dependencies — plus an optional project JSON if you want to continue editing later. The animation automatically switches off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
Can I edit the generated site?
Yes. The Edit step changes the headline, subheadline, description, colors and call-to-action, and the preview updates immediately in desktop, tablet and mobile viewports. Everything you change is included in the next export.
How this tool works
The Website Animation Builder turns a written concept into a small animated website story that you can preview in the browser and export as a single file. Instead of writing CSS keyframes by hand, you describe the audience and the feeling you want, pick a structure, and the builder assembles a scene-by-scene animation you can then edit like a normal page.
- The wizard walks you through six steps: concept, optional story frames, template, motion, editing and export. The concept step asks what the site promises and to whom — that text drives the headline and body copy of the generated page. Start and end images are optional, stay in your browser session, and never reach the generation provider.
- Motion is applied as entrance animations only — fade, slide, float, zoom or reveal — with a duration, a delay and an easing curve you control. The result is plain HTML and CSS: it opens straight from a file, needs no JavaScript runtime, and switches itself off when the visitor prefers reduced motion.
Why animate a landing page at all
A first screen that moves with intention guides the eye: the headline lands first, the proof follows, the call to action arrives last. That is the difference between a static poster and a page that tells its short story in the first three seconds — which is roughly how long a first-time visitor decides whether to stay.
Hand-writing those animations is slow and easy to break. The builder keeps them lightweight by animating transform and opacity only, consistent with the template you chose, and editable — change the colors or the button and the motion carries over untouched.
Pro tip: Export the HTML and open it locally before sharing. The file is fully self-contained, so you can drop it on any host, or keep it as a first draft and refine the copy before the final export.
