Why print still needs a scanner
QR codes bridge paper to screen without typing: menus, posters, business cards, packaging and slides all use them because a camera is faster than a keyboard. For Wi-Fi especially, a code beats reading a password aloud to every guest.
Reliability comes from contrast and breathing room. A dark code on a light background with a quiet zone (the empty border around it) scans in poor light; the same code crammed against graphics or printed in pale gray regularly fails.
Pro tip: Print a test scan before the run: hold your phone at arm's length in normal room light. If it struggles, raise the contrast or the size, not the error level.
